It's taken a little longer than normal for Krafty to pin down the dates for the SE Regional Team 15 Interclub events this year, however, they are now sorted and the region also welcomes a new club to the competition.

First up, Krafty is pleased to welcome Hove Lagoon to the competition for 2009. It's not the first time Hove have run Team 15, however they have a knack of producing wave and freestyle experts and have not done so much on the racing side. For 2009, there is every chance that the Hove team will produce some talent to keep the more experienced Team 15 clubs on their toes.

Dates & Venues for 2009

April 26th - Bewl Reservoir

May 31st - Aquasports

June 21st - Hove Lagoon

July 5th - Spray Watersports, Eastbourne

Unfortunately Hythe has been dropped from the calendar for 2009 due to complications in organising suitable tides on available weekends. That said, there is some scope to perhaps run a fun event for Team 15'ers there later in the season.

Both Hove and Spray are coastal clubs, but each have the option of using their inland lakes should conditions on the sea be too rough for the kids (or for the parents to watch their kids). Both Bewl and Aquasports offer excellent inland facilities and scope for action close to the shore and also more testing courses for those demanding a bit more.

As ever, Krafty will do his utmost to ensure all abilities are well catered for with fun, yet competitive, racing for all fleets. Should be a fun season, and best of luck to all the teams. Lets hope the SE Region can produce the National Champions this time around.

Check out your local Team 15 club and get involved. It could be the most fun you have all year.
