After a few taster sessions here and there with Dad, Jessy & Meg have stated their intent to get windsurfing properly this year.

So, needing no further encouragement, Dad whisked them down to Eastbourne to join in with the kids at Spray Sprites for a couple of sessions.

Suitably kitted out .... it was all smiles as they limbered up

To be fair, the wind was very light, but they got out on the sea and were happily windsurfing happily. Turning around seemed to be a forgotten skill, but it'll come back to them.

The wind dropped right off midway through the session so the crew at Spray grabbed the SUP's for the kids and they had some fun surfing the knee high waves running up the beach to conclude the session.

Since their season opener, they have had another session, however this time around it was that bit windier so they were using the inland lake over the road. Progression could be noticed and they were pretty happy sailing across the lake. Jess looked to be remembering the turning around bit too, putting in a couple of tacks and a gybe too.

It won't be long before they will be wanting to drag Dad to the beach on a forecast at this rate .... and judging by the interest shown by their younger sister, perhaps she'll be pushing for T-O-W too
