With all the industry re-shuffling going on, Krafty returned from his Tour Duf Windsurfing exploits & tagged-on family holiday to suddenly find himself in limbo for kit, and also looking for work.

With the distribution merry-go-round in full swing for Tabou & Gaastra, things were always going to be pretty uncertain for Krafty. In many respects change needs to be viewed as a positive, and with Krafty being a born optimist he will be sure to come out of such an adverse situation firing on all cylinders.

As adverse situations go, returning from holiday to find yourself out of work could be considered a little awkward. Losing your precious toys at the same time mildly inconvenient. But coinciding this with a really windy period with a new found period of 'time-off' and having no kit, has to rate pretty high on the frustration levels.

Krafty called in a couple of favours and was pretty soon back on the water enjoying the wind and waves in good company, while Bob and Stu at 4boards put together a new offer to bring Krafty back onto the 4boards Team, picking up where he left off just 6 months ago.

So, with an offer on the table to rectify his kit shortages, Krafty headed to the Fat Face Festival to try out the kit on offer, and also to catch up with a few folks. Suffice it to say, Krafty was suitably impressed with the kit, and is now patiently waiting for a delivery of Fanatic and North equipment to get to grips with over the coming months.

Krafty would like to express his thanks to all those who have supported him during this period of uncertainty, and is looking forward to catching up with everyone on the water asap.

In between times, the job papers and employment agencies beckon in order to find suitable employment to put some regular cash into the pot, something that could take a little more effort to rectify, perhaps.
